Client News Letter
July 30, 2007
Dear Client,
You are probably very aware of the recent volatility in the stock market. We must expect a correction like this due to the run-up of the market earlier this year. A correction is good and healthy especially when the market dips fast like it has it tends to recover the same way; it’s the slow decline that puts me on watch.
A lot of things are being attributed to this dip and a lot is being blamed on the housing market and the defaults on home loans but I believe the market was due for a correction no matter what was happening in the market.
I constantly review your accounts and if a stock is not performing as it has in the past I will move it out and replace it with something better depending on my research. When I make a change to your account you will receive a confirmation letter from Schwab, for brokerage accounts these confirmation letters should become part of your saved records. You will receive two confirmation letters from Schwab one at the purchase and one at the sell therefore you can figure the basis for tax purposes. If this does not work for you we have this same information here in the office and a call to Carrie will also get the information you need, as Carrie will do the calculations for you.
As a matter of information we now have a website – www.FinancialAdvisorLocy.com. If you want to contact me by e-mail this would be the best place to go.
Sincerely,
Al Locy
